Shane Whitney is a current Master’s student in Applied Economics at Florida State University (FSU). He has a Bachelor’s degree cum laude in Economics and Political Science from FSU, where he completed an undergraduate honors thesis on racial profiling and immigration law.

Shane is focused on the fields of labor economics and the law and economics. He is also a volunteer intern at the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights and was previously a TA in the Management Department of the FSU College of Business. Shane is proficient in excel, R, and Stata.
