Zafar Siddiqui is ABD in Public Administration and Policy at the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University. He is an electrical engineer and, after working for several years, completed his MBA from Cardiff Business School in Cardiff, United Kingdom, as a British Chevening Scholar. He later spent a year in Bern, Switzerland, with the World Trade Institute, studying and conducting research in the field of International law and economics through a program funded by the World Bank. Zafar has diverse work experience with the public sector in commerce and fiscal policy. He is also a courtesy professor at the Florida State University. His current research interests include energy policy, sustainable development, institutions, governance and adoption of smart grid by the utilities in the U.S. At CEFA, his assignments include economic modeling and project-based research.
